What is Wing Chun martial arts #2

Posted on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 10:38 am

This video here focus on the practicality usage of the art. I believe if you are a martial artist yourself you will want to learn more skills like this into your exist way of fighting.

If you look at first few segments of the video, you’ll notice it requires some of the lower body action, like footwork, waist power, punching movements. Most of the these skills requires “physical build and speed” will be more or less trained in other arts.

Now unless you think boxing is the ultimate way of fighting with the hands, let me remind you that you can punch your way until you are 60 and when you aged with less physical strength, you probably can’t punch anymore.

Wing Chun on the other hand, is a soft art. That is why it is good for females as well. On my post about Wing Chun part #1, you can see some examples of elbow and kicking to the knee, which are deadly if applied properly.

This video here focuses on practicality Cheap Brand Levitra Online Without Prescription in the first few segments, or rather some of the chi sao (sticking hands) exercises, while the basics and fundamentals are shown at the back. Don’t be discouraged by the fundamentals, it helps alot if you want to be good at this!

What is Wing Chun martial arts #1

I was pretty interested in Wing Chun for one period of time. Taekwondo was boring, I had almost mastered all kicks, be it sparring or demonstration. I spent about 6 months learning the basics of Wing Chin and then another 6 months trying out.

I really like the way Wing Chun’s training methodology are because focuses on theories, hand work, speed, calm and relaxation of the mind. I don’t have to be strong and big size (although I am tall), with musclar arms to be good at it.

Speaking of why I wanted to learn, Bruce Lee was the guy who made me learn it… We’ll talk more Cheap Viagra + Cialis + Levitra Online Without Prescription about it another time. Here are some videos that explains it all, and not that easy.

This video here has alot of “demonstration” clips in it:

Effects of sleeping less

Posted on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 9:33 pm

I was sleeping less lately these days. On an average I sleep about 8 hours on weekends and 5 hours on a weekday. Due to work and studies, I had no choice but to sleep lesser in order to finish the day’s work.

These were some of my experiences during the past 4 months when I had minimal sleep.

  • Headaches
  • Whenever I look on my PC LCD screen, I had this pain in my head.

  • Dizziness
  • I have never felt like this. I wake up feeling dizzy, even after a few hours of rest. I can’t even walk properly!

  • Feeling Tired fast
  • My day could have lasted until probably 3-4pm, but just before lunch I started to feel lethargic.

  • Yawning non stop
  • This is common sense… but it is still very weird to have someone beside you yawning non stop.

  • Feeling anxious

I felt easily anxious about things happening around these few months. from the number of times to the loo, to doing projects. I just felt I have to do something or else something bad will happen.

And whats worst was visited the doctor for the first 2 problems I encounter. There were even mre if I hadn’t taken care of myself. It could have affected me in:

  • Judgement
  • Thinking
  • Communications
  • No kidding, these were the doctor’s words. She even asked me to sleep 14 hours straight. But I thought that would be be impossible!

With my brain working on several stuff at the moment, involving work and school, I don’t want to take risk of failing at what I do. I want to think fast and sharp! But sometimes we don’t really have a choice, do we ?

So if you think you are superman, think again. For a moment I thought that way too.

    My advice:

    SLEEP MORE FOLKS!

    2) Get more RAM !
    3) Using 2 Harddisks for better performance ?
    4) Be a geek before you tweak
    5) Hard drive Configurations
    6) Defrag and Disk Cleanup… as usual
    7) Keyboard shortcuts for your convinence (I simply love them)
    8) Please don’t Cheap Xenical Online Without Prescription fool around with a company or work PC
    9) Understand what are bad tweaks.
    10) Registry knowhow
    11) Read his entire guide before you start (Quite alot to read though)
    12) Give credits to the author for his hard work !
    13) Buy his PDF version of the tweaks, if you need to print it!

    Happy tweaking !
