Is your life only about making money, money and more money? Welcome to my blog, and I hope to share with my money management tips. I will post my money status online, so that you can reivew them. My dreams are to live wealthy, becoming rich, making money online with internet marketing, internet business, and Entrepreneurship altogether.
Life is about finding your dream, and working towards that dream.
On this finasteride 1mg day I had this thoughts, after I overheard a couple’s discussions about their life. Not to offend anyone.
On the poor
The poor loves to spent money unwise, while they spent most of their time dealing with money problems.
On the contrary, the rich think differently…
On the rich
The rich loves to save money, while they spent most of their problems thinking where to “spend” their money
In fact, before I even decided that I was “right” with these 2 phrases, I did a “backtesting” on some experiments. “Backtesting” is a word used for traders to test their system against historical prices and data.
If you look around you, this is in fact very true. The people who have better financial knowledge will learn and try to improve their wealth over time. While those at the lower end will, however cannot keep up with the pace, and often have to fight with bread and butter issues.
It would be (excuse me with this example again, probably I should bring up my manamoneyonline.com webhost as it had been down ) , like those stocks on the Exchange, where the expensive stocks become more expensive, while cheaper stocks remains cheap.
This I hope, will spur you to get your butt moving to start some basic financial knowledge, instead of spending happily every day.
I am saying this because I had almost went into a pitfall of using no money to earn more spare cash. Instead I should be using spare cash for investments, especially when I trade, be propecia buy online it 10 minutes or 3 days.
Investments are low risk, while trading are high risks. So invest now!
The term web services is getting popular these days. Web services are systems that helps to break down an entire system into sub components, by using services oriented architecture method on the web.
What is does is it is able to provide any type of services you see online, plug it in and out of a system eg. a website, and then “publish” it so that everyone else is able to use it.
This is a research that I have done over the past few days and it shows how businesses of today should adapt the same concept to what web services is providing.
What is SOA?
This paper focuses mainly on what is Service Oriented Architecture or SOA in short. SOA is a new technology, and a new buzz trend in the IT industry. In summary, this new technology enables business to reach a new level in terms of business process, improve performance and overall cost savings. This will revolved the way Information systems entirely, therefore improving the productivity.
Services oriented architecture, in other words, is a collection of services provided by systems, that allows inter-communications. To use these services, one need to pass simple buy propecia online data to those services and a result will be returned.
At a more in depth level, an IT software system can or should be built with a loosely coupled collection of services. It means a system containing many other tiny systems that communicate to either internal or external services, also known as “web services”.
In return, any data that are passed to these services will return the proper results for the user who requested it. The user, on the other hand, does not need to understand how the system works.
Benefits of SOA and how it re-engineers the business process
There are several advantages with regards to a SOA built system. A system in the current context can either be an IT system with a few computers, an IT application for the enterprise, a software guided process flow, or just a piece of software on running on a network of computers.
One of the main advantages, is the ability to plug and play components. As we have discussed above, the beauty of SOA lies in the possibility to take out or bring in a particular process easily. A revolution will take place and business process will change entirely, saving resources and redesigning the business process. This will therefore improve productivity and other related matters.
Another advantage is the ability to break up an entire system into sub-systems or components, and allow inter-communications among these components to talk one another services provided. In other words, we are able to build a complete software just by bringing smaller components together. These web services are able to provide you with enough resources to produce an output desired.
Just imagine a printer cartridge that consists of black, red, blue and yellow ink. When anyone of these inks are used up, you will need to replace the whole cartridge. Then they started selling separate cartridges, black and color. Then they further break it down to individual color, so when any of the ink color is finished, you only need to replace one of them.
Finally, cost saving is the most concerned factor for businesses. Based on the previous advantage, existing businesses with a software system will not need to spend large amount of money to maintain or upgrade. This system may exist all over multiple sites. By implementing SOA, a business can redesign their processes over these sites, such that they can remove duplicate services, standardize software platform, outsourced or sell some of the non-core activities, and concentrate on core business priorities and improve performance.
The dawn of re-engineering
The next step in re-engineering the business process is to map out all activities, including those IT and non IT. This diagram will be term as “Heat map”, which will list down all tasks, grouped according in terms of priority, cost, performance, or other measurement factors. Within each job tasks, list down the possibilities of whether it should be automated with IT, whether if it should be kept in-house, outsourced, brought to customer’s or distributor’s site.
Once a diagram is drafted out, the next tier is to look at what value each task will fetch for the organization. We shall call this tier activity evaluation. Identification for the tasks should be decided, like core or non core activities, or it can be grouped as mandatory or support activities. The value of the tasks will then be evaluated, whether it is generating profits to a company, or if it is an important task in the support arm.
The next tier is about evaluating its current level performance. This step is consider most important, as the turning point on each tasks, whether they should be step up, cut down, terminated, or maintained. This is when the services oriented approached is needed. These tasks can then be purchased (if there’s a solution), sold (as a profitable unit), or enhanced by executing Web services.
The big thing of the 21st century in IT is automation and outsourcing. If the tasks can be automated, maintenance cost could be lowered. If not, it will be decided if it should be kept in-house (running IT web services), or it should be purchased, from other vendor providing these services, or it can be sold to customers, distributors or partners, if this service has started.
Finally the performance of core units can be measured after implementation of the re-engineering exercise. By using the SOA approach, the benefits mentioned in this report should take commence and follow through, giving some yield in terms of performance, or cutting down maintenance cost. The plug and play capabilities displayed here, will ensure that if remodeling or transition of services are needed, then it can done freely.
Conclusion
To conclude, large oraganizations should actively change the way traditional IT systems work, adapt, and make full use to whatever new technologies that will revolutionized business of today.
I have afterall finish my last paper on the 23rd June 2009. That day marks the end of my university course, as well as my life’s academic studies. Which means I will say good bye to school! And therefore now I am awaiting my transcript to be mailed to my house.
This post was something reminded me last time when I first started, even until today, after finishing. Though graduation is due only in a few months time, I’ll write it here the feeling I go through (and the rest of the part time students) when we study and work at the same time.
I often get people asking me this question. Especially working adults who will never had a chance to experience this. Some of us have the luxury of completing a graduate degree, before stepping out to work, so it is quite a different experience. For me it was the reverse; to work first so that I can support my family before funding for my degree course.
Let me just put the differences between 1) working and studying, and 2) working only.
1) Assuming you work 8-5 in a local firm. A typical nite class runs at 12 hours a week, including time for doing assignments, projects, and preparing for exams.
- You spent additional 30 to 60 mins travelling to your school after work duing school days.
- You need to eat your dinner fast! That means you might be eating junk, or spending more money.
- You reach school, get a seat, open your text book. Next you have 3 choices. Chat with your friends, read up and be hardworking, or sleep.
- You sleep throughout the whole lesson, thinking wouldn’t it be better if you had a laptop to do your assignments.
- You look at the time for a break, because you are very tired.
- Finally the lecturer releases you, right on the dot of 10pm. (You may choose not to come in the first place!)
- You get home +30 mins to an hour, and doing your usual stuff like bathing etc. It’s around 11:15pm.
- You start doing your assignment, or your project. It’s 12am.
- The next morning, you get so tired. Because right after 12 am finishing your assignments, you need to check mails, look at the latest handphone offers, run through a few web sites for information.
- You may need to take leaves, because the deadline for the project is today !
- If you don’t, you appear like a zombie at work.
- You have in total only less than 5 hours of sleep. (Because I take 30 mins to sleep, and 30 mins to wake up)
2) buy viagra pills Assuming you work 8-5, and no part time study programs.
- Your after work time is controlled by you.
- You ask your friends / girlfriends etc out after work, the day before or even on the day itself.
- You have no time constraint. It’s ok if you are late 15 minutes… Just don’t do it again!
- You meet up, and decide slower, what to eat for dinner.
- You continue to chat about what happen today… last week… or even the whole of the month! (That’s because your time is free)
- You don’t feel tired. Who will be tired if you get to meet up with friends ?
- You don’t have to think about deadlines for any projects. Unless you have a tough job that gets you working even back home.
- You should reach home fast. Would you go somewhere far just for a dinner ?
- You reach home feeling rejoyced, because theres still enough time to rest and watch TV at home.
- You get yourself to bed, thinking what happen today. You still have 8 hours of sleeping time.
- You get up next morning feeling a good sleep, and get ready for another day’s work.
So you see the difference now ? If this goes on for two years, it does affect your lifestyle.
Not forgetting that a night course cost $10,000 to $20,000 a year, be it a Bachelor Degree or a Masters. That is what I call wasting time and money, and affecting your lifestyle.
I have classmates who work 8am-8pm, skipping the first few topics of a lesson. There are those who have to sacrifice for their family, including their kids. There are those who are unfortunate, whose family are poor, so they had to work first before studying. That means they have to save up for this course.
This example is only for weekdays. What about weekends ? I will be posting it shortly.
“If you love money, forget about the job. If you love the job, forget about the money.”
I thought of this quote while I was thinking if I had a job generic viagra online that I love. A job that I have passion in, a job that is stressless, and one that I enjoy doing (probably because I have a pretty colleague)
Well but that’s not the case because I love money more than anything. Or should I say I need it more than anything else. Hmm in that case I am prepared to work any job that gives me the highest income, be it being employee, self employed or an employer.
After reading the halfway through this book “Make money, Be happy”, I came out with my own simple logic about money health mentality of people around us. I think we think this way, and this is quite powerful to motivate me to go further on my finances.
There are 3 ways of how people think about managing their money.
I am poor, born to be poor, and I will never be rich
For this type of people, for every $1 they receive, will find ways to spent their $1 off, and ends up with $0.
Before doing anything, since they have determined that they live poor, they will spent that $1 away by wasting it on some stupid stuff, and end up with no money.
I am spendthrift, very careful in spending, and I save everything I have for the future
This type of people, for every $1 they receive, will find ways to save their $1, and ends up with $1.
This is typically us. We tend to save everything we have, Though we do spend, we save after spending. It is better than not saving, but in this state of mentality, we try to save as much as we can and hopefully “save” a pile of fortune. Which… sadly we know it doesn’t work.
I am rich, and I think rich. I will be rich if I keep trying it.
For this type of people, for every $1 they receive, will find ways to invest their $1 to get higher returns, and viagra in canada ends up with $1.
This is the kind of mentality that very few of us adopt. Only the rich people will think of it, because that is how they ended up there. For this group of people, they will try ways to invest their $1, into getting back $1.10, or even $2. This kind of thinking allows us to keep pushing the limit into finding ways to increase our assets.
“I stay happy by making money, while you stay happy by spending money”
Is this what is happening to you ? Lots of us make and earn our pay check every month, but seriously that’s not why we are happy. We are happy when we spend these money onto something that gives us material objects. Stuff like luxury items, branded goods, women viagra indulging in fine dining, decorating houses, or buying IT gadgets that you do not need.
On the other hand, I have trained myself to build up the habit by being the opposite. By making money, and trying to make even more (freelance, part time, settling of my unwanted stuff, other means and ways… investments), I felt happier, and as though life is more meaningful. And that is part of the reason I had this blog, which shows some money management of my own. I have the confidence to introduce you my style of handling my money, and I am even happier doing that.
There was a phrase which sounded something like that.
“Pegging our employee’s Salary to the market salary versus pegging our Salary to the current standard of living under economic risk.”
What this online pharmacy online prescription means is that, there are 2 types of market. One market is the safer side, when economic is good, versus, pegging salary to the standard of living, which is affected by several factors, including economic risk.
In 2008 Sept-Dec, we see so much economic downturn, that leaves us thinking whether salary should be peg with the market, in terms of skill, experience, responsibilities, education etc etc, or should we peg salary to market quality.
Indeed it is difficult to stay financially healthy, so we should always aim to stay alert on money matters.
After looking around for cheap alternatives for a shelf and one that fits right into the corner of my room, I turn to IKEA, with their solutions of the DIY shelf. It features different heights, and different sizes of planks. It amounted to about $98 for me, which is way better than shelves that made and cannot be change.
This is not a tutorial about how to DIY a shelf, because its really hard to show you. But I have some pictures that I took in the process of doing it.
Maybe after a few years, I may decide to add more planks in the between the spaces.
Since I thought it is quite nice, I got a picture of it after it was in my living room. This set of L-shaped Sofa cost about $800, and was just perfect for Chinese New Year. As for the color theme, I thought this was quite modern. Red for Chinese New Year, black because it doesn’t get dirty at all.
It sits in the middle of my small living room, facing my LCD TV, and mainly for my parents to sit and doze off…
