This is the video by Google’s Android Team on the HTC Dream or T-mobile G1. It shows some of the products you will see when you initially purchase it. Having introduce these products already on my blog, I’ll touch on some other stuff.

One of the most powerful features is the synchronization with your Google account. (provided you have the data plan) What this means that your Google mail, contacts, and calenders etc etc are always in sync. This is quite a very powerful feature for me, because now I have information always with me.

Hi Dennis, i guess most users in SG are really piss with google for not releasing 1.5 cupcake to G1 users. Did you root your phone anyway? But if we root then there is no more waranty if anything goes wrong… sigh..

Yep, its better not to do anything first. I’ve got a friend he bought his android online via Google, and he has successfully rooted his Dream. btw his dream has this green n red button with a little design at the back so diff!

Now we just pray Singtel releases it to us via some kinda of updates, since the new HTC MAgic is using the latest cupcake as well.

    Hi Dennis,

I own a HTC Dream too.. From what i read online, I saw a couple of methods (or tricks) to upgrade our HTC to Cupcake 1.5..

But do you think it’s safe?

I seriously don’t think Singtel will give us this update anytime soon.. (or probably never)

I decide to just wait, cos currently I am quite happy with what I have. Also do you guys know about that HTC customer service center at harbour front towers ?

As some of my keys are “spoiled” might need to go there change. When I go there I shall ask, and probably update here.

Unless I find that I really need the onscreen keyboard and video cam, I’ll just wait awhile more.
